在英國烹飪界快速竄紅、台灣出生的美女名廚黃（水+靜）億，應邀在倫敦「亞洲美食節」演講，並現場示範廚藝，配合中國春節，兩道應景佳餚獲得現場數百名觀眾滿堂彩。
特別到現場參加活動的中華民國駐英代表張小月接受中央社記者訪問時說，黃（水+靜）億在英國有很高的知名度，除了烹飪節目還出版食譜，透過她的介紹，英國民眾更熱愛中華美食，黃（水+靜）億堪稱是「中華美食大使」。
1978年出生的黃（水+靜）億，5歲隨父親黃丁霖移民南非，11歲移居倫敦，倫敦大學畢業後開創食品公司，販售各種改良式涼麵，並開發健康飲料，打入哈洛氏（Harrod’s）、賽福居（Selfridges）等高級百貨商場。
外型甜美，口齒清晰的黃（水+靜）億自2006年起陸續推出烹飪節目，包括「（水+靜）億的廚房」（Ching’s Kitchen）、英國廣播公司（BBC）製作的「中華料理簡單做」（Chinese Food Made Easy），及目前正在第5頻道電視台播出的「（水+靜）億的中華美食輕鬆做」（Ching’sChinese Food in Minutes），都創下高收視率。
不僅如此，黃（水+靜）億也出版3本中華料理食譜，銷路長紅，成為英國最受歡迎的中華美食廚師，高人氣使她成為其它重要烹飪節目的常客。
今年是「亞洲之家」（Asia House）第一次籌辦「亞洲美食節」，節目部主任葛斯（Sumi Ghose）告訴中央社記者，美食節涵蓋亞洲多個國家，第一場活動邀請黃（水+靜）億，因為「她是現代中華美食的代言人」，「在英國，談到中華料理，她是很重要的人物」。
本身也愛好中華料理的葛斯說，黃（水+靜）億廣受歡迎的原因是她為中國菜注入新生命，為食譜加了現代創意，她同時探索台灣、中國等地的傳統食譜。在中國春節之前安排她演講，格外有意義。
黃（水+靜）億接受中央社專訪時說，受邀到「亞洲美食節」為第一場活動示範，她感到很榮幸。配合農曆春節，她在演講中介紹中國「年」的由來及傳統，並在現場示範兩道應景的食物，年糕取其年年高升的好兆頭，鹹湯圓則是象徵大家過節慶團圓。
活動場地擠滿慕名而來的民眾，示範過程中，許多人熱烈詢問製作年糕、炸年糕及鹹湯圓的技巧，現場香味四溢，十分熱鬧，烹煮完成後，主持人和現場觀眾忍不住搶著品嚐熱呼呼的佳餚。
坐在第一排全程觀賞的張小月說，黃（水+靜）億的示範非常出色，「她與眾不同之處，在於她把原本複雜的中華料理解說的很清楚，提高大家對自己做很棒的中華料理信心」。
由於父母住在台灣，今年春節黃（水+靜）億無法與家人團聚，特別想念家人。她回憶，以前過年時都會和家人一起守歲，迎接新的1年來臨，大家圍爐聊天，看電視。
她笑著說，「當然，最喜歡的就是拿紅包了」。
記者問她最推薦新食譜書裡的那些料理？黃（水+靜）億說，她很喜歡酸辣湯，外婆以前常做給她吃的豬排金針湯也很棒，還有她改良過的無錫排骨、酸甜鴨、海鮮麵，都可讓讀者輕鬆做好健康的中華美食。
活動現場同時販售黃（水+靜）億的兩本食譜，不少粉絲爭相和黃（水+靜）億拍照，要求簽名，儼然像是明星簽名會。

British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead after apparently committing suicide at his home.
The 40-year-old was discovered at his property in Green Street, in London’s West End, shortly after 10am on Thursday.
Paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for the designer confirmed the news. She said: “Mr McQueen was found dead at his home. We’re devastated and I hope you understand that out of respect to his family and his colleagues we’re not going to be making any further statement.”
His death comes just days before London Fashion Week, which is due to open on February 19, and as final preparations were being made to unveil a spring collection in Paris.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “We were called by London Ambulance Service at about 10.20am this morning (Thursday) to reports of a man found dead at an address in Green Street, W1. He is believed to be 40-years-old and from London. Next of kin have been informed, however we await formal identification before releasing the name of the deceased. The death is being treated as non-suspicious.”
The designer’s real name was Lee McQueen, but he was known as Alexander.
His design company, also called Alexander McQueen, said in a statement: “On behalf of Lee McQueen’s family, Alexander McQueen announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand, has been found dead at his home. At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee’s family.
Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogue, said: “Lee McQueen influenced a whole generation of designers. His brilliant imagination knew no bounds as he conjured up collection after collection of extraordinary designs.
“At one level he was a master of the fantastic, creating astounding fashion shows that mixed design, technology and performance and on another he was a modern-day genius whose gothic aesthetic was adopted by women the world over. His death is the hugest loss to anyone who knew him and for very many who didn’t.”

去年取得英國中央聖馬丁藝術大學服裝設計女裝碩士歸國的林鈺倫，最近獲母校邀請，將參加2月底至3月初在倫敦舉辦的秋冬女裝設計展，她融合男裝的極簡風搭配傳統男裝的縫製技巧，設計35款女裝參展。
25歲的林鈺倫是台中市人，她的8件碩士畢業作品，結合男裝細節與製作技巧，並融入女裝時尚元素，展現截然不同新概念，是這次獲邀參加倫敦柯印史比藝廊服裝展的主因。
從小習畫的林鈺倫說，留英期間曾跟隨英國傳統西服製作師傅，學習西服製作概念與工法，這次參展女裝就融合了傳統男裝的縫製技巧。
她說，2010年秋冬女裝設計特色，發揮男裝的縫製細緻度、加上極簡設計優雅風格，摻進現代流行元素，剪裁俐落，呈現不同風格的女裝特色。
她還把英國傳統男裝刺繡的元素與高級訂製服裝設計內涵融進女裝，引用傳統男裝袖口的縫製技術，把精準的刺繡縫製到女裝上，增加女裝設計變化。
林鈺倫說，聖馬丁大學這次只邀請9名設計師參展，為了參加難得的服裝展，她做女裝刺繡時，縫到左手指發炎。
林鈺倫國中畢業考進台中家商服裝科，大學推甄進入實踐大學服裝設計系，大二即轉赴中央聖馬丁大學服裝設計系進修，曾在英國知名高級訂製品牌Alexcender MCqeen、知名牛仔設計品牌Made in Heaven擔任實習設計助理，有關她更多的資訊，可上http://www.eveylin.co.uk網站查詢

【潘姵如、塗豐駿╱台北報導】「甜心教主」王心凌拍攝新專輯《心電心》贈品年曆時，穿著一系列膚色貼身潮牌睡衣，若隱若現而造成大流行。而這個服飾的設計者，竟是一名年輕女設計師，她以睡衣為概念，設計出舒服、時尚的類睡衣，沒想到意外造成許多宅女搶購，驚喜誇讚：「就算窩在家裡，也不怕朋友臨時拜訪！」
29歲女創意設計
這一款女性潮牌「Pyjamaz」（英文原文「Pajamas」，意指睡衣）大膽以裸色系類睡衣概念著手，二十九歲的設計總監吳依儒在倫敦研讀時尚研究，回台後，去年三月開設工作室，一手包辦設計打版、尋覓原料、裁剪縫製。
吳依儒剛開始僅在網路推出裸色系貼身睡衣，去年在網站放上女模穿膚色貼身洋裝的激凸照片，經網友口耳相傳打開知名度，創下單日近十萬元的銷售金額。吳依儒說，裸色系類睡衣的設計，以「像睡衣一樣舒服的衣服」為發想，盼透過舒服的材質和簡單的裁縫，讓女性呈現「最不用力的性感。」推出之後廣受好評，戴佩妮、王宇婕等藝人都成為熟客，王心凌拍新專輯贈品年曆時，更主動向唱片公司推薦該品牌。
王心凌事後大手筆花六位數字買回所有穿過的衣服，還私下網購新產品，她得知《蘋果》要報導該品牌時，透過唱片公司開心地說：「那表示我的眼光很好！」
